This role is a member of the Eight Roads Ventures Japan (ERVJ) team supporting technology and health care investments., This roll will be supporting deal execution, portfolio management, and reporting duties. There will also be some opportunity to source deals and participate in other projects. This role works in the team to support senior staff in identifying, analysing and monitoring investments. Much of the time is spent under the supervision of deal leaders.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university • Several years of recent business experience in Japan • 2-5 years of work experience, preferably in investment banking or consulting – preferably with a multi-national firm (management consultants will be considered if financial modelling skills are strong) • Preference will be given to those with demonstrated interest in venture capital and technology or healthcare sectors • Excellent mathematical and financial skills. Able to use these skills to solve complex problems. • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills • Fluent Japanese and good English (listening, writing, speaking) • Experience working in a multicultural environment
